About us

Health, Physical Education & Sports of Bunts Sanghas Arathi Shashikiran Shetty Junior College believes that Every Winner was once a Beginner. As an Institute we always try and thrive to achieve something bigger and better which in turn will Help our students to go the next level and achieve new heights, not only in the field of Education but also in Sports as well.
The Bunts Sanghas Arathi Shashikiran Shetty Junior College, has well equipped Physical Education & Sports Department which Provides facilities for major games like Cricket, Football, Handball, kabaddi at the Chunnabhatti Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Playground and Nehru Nagar Playground, a short distance away from the college. Our College gives importance to maximum participation of the students at intercollegiate events held by D.S.O & Junior College Sports Association in various Sports and games. Facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess are also made available to the students. Moreover, the Gymkhana provides well-equipped fitness center to the staff and the students of the Institution. The College maintains an up-to-date first aid box which includes life-saving drugs.
Sports has always been an integral part of our lives and we believe there is a sportsman in each and every individual. Keeping this in mind Bunts sanghas Physical Education & Sports Department organises its Annual Inter-department Sports Event& Intramural Competitions. Every year we organize Annual Sports day which provides a platform for each & very student to explore his/her talent in the field of Physical Education & Sports
Our College organizes Yoga and Meditation Sessions for staff and students on a regular basis. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.

Annual Sports Day 2018-19

Bunts Sanghas Higher Education Institutions had organized Annual Sports Meet 2017 on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Naval Dockyard Ground, Kanjurmarg West, Mumbai. President, Shri Padmanabha S Payyade was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The event was well attended by the Vice President of Bunts Sangha Shri Chandrahas K Shetty, Secretary of Bunts Sangha Shri Sanjeeva Shetty, Treasurer of Bunts Sangha Shri Praveen B Shetty, Jt Treasure of Bunts Sangha Shri Gunapal Shetty Aikala, Chairman of HEC Shri N Vivek Shetty, Vice Chairman of HEC Shri Kishor Kumar Kuthyar, Secretary of HEC Shri Bhaskar Shetty Karnad, Treaurer of HEC CA Ramesh B Shetty, Chairman Youth wing Shri Sharath  Shetty, Member of HEC Shri Prasanna Shetty, Ex Secretary HEC- CA Harish Hegde. Also Principals/Director, CAO, Staff Members and above 1100 students were present during the event.

Journey for glory

Students of FYJC & SYJC Participated in INDIAN SPEED GAIL RAFTAR District level Athletics. Selection Trials under the aegis of The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Maharashtra Mission 1 Million sports movement (Football Competition)

Conducted inter class Football tournament on account of Maharashtra Mission 1 Million sports movement on 15 September, 2017. Total 70 Students were participated in Inter Class Football Tournament. & Approx 160 students were being a part of the game as an audience.

CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY & POSTER MAKING COMPETITION 21 JUNE, 2017

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2017 by Bunts Sangha Higher Education Colleges. Physical Education & Sports Department, Students and faculty from all the colleges participated in the event.
